3 Ukrainian Soldiers; 4 Russia-Backed Fighters Wounded

Russia-backed militants violated the “harvest cease-fire” five times today from 7:00-18:00, Unian reported, citing the evening dispatch of the Ukrainian Joint Forces Operation (JFO), formerly the Anti-Terrorist Operation). One Ukrainian soldier was wounded.

Ukrainian forces wounded 4 Russia-backed fighters in the previous reporting period on July 14 Gordonua.com reported. Yesterday, July 14, they opened fire 28 times and 2 Ukrainian soldiers were wounded, the JFO reported on its Facebook page.
Russia-backed fighters used grenade-launchers, mortar-launchers and machine guns.
On the Luganskoye, Popasnyanyskoye, Svetlodarsk and Gorlovskoye lines, there were single fires by the JFO near Krymskoye, Kryakovka, Troitskoye, Novoluganskoye and Yuzhnoye. Militants fired 8 82-mm shells at Ukrainian defenders in Novoluganskoye.
On the Donetsk line, Russia-backed forces continued provocations, firing grenade-launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms at Ukrainian positions in Maryinka, Opytnoye, Kamenka and Peski.

On the Mariupol line, militants fired 12 times near Talakovka, Vodyanoye, Gnutovo, Shirokino and Pishchevik. Near Vodyanoye, militants used 120-mm mortars.
