In its morning dispatch, the ATO [Anti-Terrorist Operation] said 2 Ukrainian soldiers were killed near Avdeyevka (Avdiivka) and 3 wounded with over 80 attacks from Russia-backed forces, Unian reported:

On the Mariupol line, strongpoints near Shyrokine, Hnutove and Vodiane were shelled with 122 mm artillery systems. An enemy tank fired at positions near Vodiane, while IFV weapons were used against Ukrainian marines deployed in Shyrokine. Enemy snipers were active near Hnutove and Vodiane,” the HQ reported. Yet another cease-fire negotiated by the Trilateral Contract Group is supposed to go into effect on Saturday, April 1, in conjunction with Orthodox Easter on April 16, Unian reported.

In his column in Obozrevatel’, military expert Yuriy Karin said the ceasefire was worthless. He said Russian propagandists were actively filming the shelling of civilian areas and claiming they were by Ukrainian forces; Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov also said Ukraine wasn’t abiding by the Minsk process, although as Karin pointed out, it is Russia that is causing the violations of Minsk through “gun-fire and information provocations”.
Tsargrad, a nationalist TV station in Moscow financed by Russian Orthodox businessman Konstantin Malofeyev, has aired footage claiming to show Ukrainian shell firing in Yasinovataya.
Independent social media reports also indicate damage to buildings in Yasinovataya.
