Ukraine reports 32 attacks yesterday.

At least eight Ukrainian soldiers were wounded yesterday.

Heavy shelling reported near Donetsk, Mariupol and Gorlovka.

Meanwhile Russian-backed separatists in Donetsk claim Ukrainian troops fired on a group that included OSCE monitors and journalists today.

While the Ukrainian military reports only 10 attacks yesterday, social media and OSCE reports indicate that the level of fighting may be higher than officially acknowledged.

The Ukrainian military claims that Russian-backed fighters have resumed mortar attacks near Mariupol.

On the 2nd anniversary of the violence clashes in Odessa that left 48 dead, the Ukrainian military reports that, for the most part, Russian-backed fighters in the Donbass now appear to be abiding by the Easter truce agreement. However the Donetsk separatists claim that Ukrainian forces shelled their positions last night and this morning.

The level of fighting has fallen for the second day in a row (which may be nothing more than part of a regular cycle), but Ukraine still suffered heavy military casualties yesterday.

Ukraine reports 104 attacks yesterday, the highest number of attacks reported in one day since August 27th last year.
