1 Ukrainian Soldier Killed, 3 Wounded in Past 2 Days; Water Supply Restored

One Ukrainian soldier was killed and one wounded during the day, Unian reported, citing the ATO [Anti-Terrorist Operation].

Earlier, the ATO had reported 2 soldiers wounded in the previous reporting period, bringing the total to 1 killed, 3 wounded in the last 2 days.
Russia-backed forces continued to fire on Ukrainian positions despite the ceasefire, although with less heavy weapons.
On the Maritime line, Lebedinskoye was attacked with small arms and grenades; 152-mm artillery was used to attack Gnutovo.
On the Donetsk line, positions at the Svetlodarsk Bulge were attacked; there was sniper fire near Luganskoye.
On the Lugansk line, a sniper was active near Novotoshkovskoye and Zhyoltoye was attacked with anti-tank grenades. Small arms were fired near Donets.
The Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination reported random fire on residential quarters of Maryinka. A 59-year-old man, owner of a home on Oktyabrskaya, was wounded. He was taken to Kurakhovo Hospital with a gunfire wound in the lumbar region.
Ukrainian law-enforcers detained the ataman of the Cossacks in the self-proclaimed “Donetsk People’s Republic,” Unian reported.
The 66-year-old man is a resident of Makeyevka and had a permit to bear Cossack arms; he was identified as the major-general of the regional DNR Cossack troops. His name was not given. 
Power has been restored as the Donetsk Filtration Station was repaired and water service has resume in Avdeyevka, Unian reported.

Eduard Baturin, self-styled commander of the forces of the self-declared “Donetsk People’s Republic” said two homes were damanged in shelling by Ukrainian forces but did not specify the location. He also claimed Ukrainian forces were moving in self-propelled Akatsia systems to the front line.
