5 Ukrainian Soldiers Wounded; Total of 61 Attacks in 24 Hours During ‘Ceasefire’

Fighting along the front line was significantly less than in previous weeks, although the cease-fire, declared April 1 by the Trilateral Contact Group, did not hold, Liga.net reported.

In its morning dispatch, the ATO [Anti-Terrorist Operation] reported that 5 Ukrainian soldiers were injured and 43 attacks had been made over night.
In its evening dispatch that Russia-backed militants fired 18 times on Ukrainian positions, using heavy weapons near Verkhnyetoretskoye, said Liga.net
Most of the attacks were on the Mariupol line, where 120-mm mortars, grenade-launchers, heavy machine guns and an armed BMP ttacked Ukrainian forces at Novogrigoryevka; 82-mm mortars, grenade-launchers and machine guns as well as snipers were used to attack Krasnogorovka. Militants fired on Maryinka with 82-mm mortars and small arms. Anti-tank grenade-launchers and heavy machine guns were fired on Vodyanoye, Shirokino and Berezvoye. Heavy machine guns fired on Chermalyk and snipers and a BMP fired on Ukrainian defenders at Novotroitskoye. The marines near Gnutovo and Talakovka were fired on with small arms. 
Anti-tank weapons and heavy machine guns were used to fire on Ukrainian positions in the area of Maryinka. A BMP fired on positions in Novogrigoryevka. The marines outside Gnutovo were attacked with grenade-launchers during the day and small arms at night, and at Shirokino as well. 
Over night on the Donetsk line, 82-mm mortars and grenade-launchers were fired near Avdeyevka and Verkhnyetoretskoye. Heavy machine guns and small arms were used to attack positions near Kamenko. Anti-tank grenade-launchers were used to fire on Peski and Zaytsevo as well as positions near Opytnoye, where a BMP also fired.
Russia-backed forces shell Optynoye nearly every day.
During the day on the Donetsk line, 82-mm and 120-mm mortars were used along with an armed BRT at Verkhnyetoretskoyie. Grenade-launchers and heavy machine guns fired on Ukrainian strongholds outside Avdeyevka. Grenade-launchers were used to attck Ukrainian positions  at Kamnki and Zaytsev and heavy machine guns were fired near Peski. Snipers were active near Troitskoye, Zaytsevo and Peski.
Over night on the Lugansk like, militants fired on Katerinovka and Stanitsa Luganskaya with grenade-launchers; heavy machine guns were fired near Krymskoye.

Ukranian forces said they did not return fire.
