1 Ukrainian Soldier Killed; Russia-Backed Forces Make 62 Attacks on Ukrainian Positions

One Ukrainian soldier was killed in battle today, and there were 62 attacks by Russia-backed militants on Ukrainian positions today, Liga.net reported, citing the ATO [Anti-Terrorist Operation] dispatch on Facebook at 18:00.

On the Mariupol line, militants used mortar-launchers on Gnutovo, Novotroitskoye, Lebedinskoye and Zaytsevo. Grenade-launchers and heavy machine guns were used on Gnutovo, Pavlopol, Granitnoye and Vodyanoye. A BMP fired on Shirokino and anti-tank missiles were fired on Vodyanoye. 
On the Donetsk line, combined Russian and separatist forces used 82-mm and 120-mm mortar launchers and grenade-launchers as well as small arts to fire on Troitskoye, Avdeyevka, Zaytsevo, Opytnoye, Kamyanka, Luganskoye and Novgorodskoye. A sniper fired on Avdeyevka (Avdiivka).

On the Lugansk line, militants fired on Valuyskoye with grenade-launchers and small arms.

Ukraine is celebrating the third anniversary of the “Revolution of Dignity” which began on the Maidan or main public square of Kiev.
