Screen grab from video by SBU allegedly showing weapons in Vladimir Ruban’s vehicle

Ukrainian National Guardsman Yuriy Lugovsky, b. 1994, of Chervonohrad, Lviv Region, call sign Baret, was killed by a sniper, Liga.net reported.

A Ukrainian soldier was killed as well in an attack by Russia-backed forces, Liga.net reported.
Militants fired on the Lugansk line with grenade-launchers and heavy machine guns, and on the Donetsk line with 82-mm mortars near Avdeyevka.
Liga.net reported that on March 6, the OSCE reported an incident March 5 where a patrol of 6 members in two armored cars were headed east toward Kazatsky, 36 km to the northeast of Mariupol, and were stopped by a uniformed man bearing an AK-74. The fighter aimed his weapon at the mission’s first vehicle.
The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) has published a video claiming that Vladimir Ruban, an informal POW negotiator arrested at a checkpoint yesterday, intended to deliver weapons to the Russia-backed forces of the self-declared “Donetsk People’s Republic” and that they were to be fired in Kiev.

A Kiev court ordered Ruban’s arrest for 60 days without bail.
